The causes of stress can vary from one person to another person, very much depending on the environment one's live, jobs, daily chores, pattern of daily routine, & many many more factors that determine the causes of stress for any individual. In this article, we will touch on the major causes of stress for most individual who are suffering from the stress situation.

One of the causes of stress - change, how many times in your life that you’ve faced with change? I have moved to several houses, transferred with my dad to other divisions throughout the state, changed schools, changed friends, changed lifestyle, changed jobs, changed appetite, and loads of changes. So the fact is, change can be one of the major causes of stress to us.

The second causes of stress to many of us will be "money". Money makes the world go round. I guess what pressures us most in this materialistic world is money. If you have money, you still crave for more. If you don’t have money, then you look for ways to find more money. Money is one of the major causes of stress for many people in this world. People are jailed for stealing money and bribery. People committed suicide because they owe money from financial institutions, or worst of all, from "loan shark". Monetary worries include having to pay for the house, food, clothing, education, car, loan, and so on. You might have a saving that would be a backup for you in time of need, but for how long can your back up back you up? You have to have a steady source of income! It is common to see young people these days working two jobs at a time.

Sometimes people can be stressed for no apparent reason. It could be some hidden stress building up from within, without much realization. Accumulative stress can make you feel helpless, especially when you are in ‘that time of the cycle’. You can blame the hormone for that though. Sometimes you can become very forgetful, sensitive and emotional when you are in the stress situation, apparently for no reason.

I am a believer that “all work and no play make Jack a dull boy”. If you are self-employed peron, there’s tendency for you to be like that because you are caring for your business. If you are working for people, it’s totally a different thing.

Whenever there is argument between you and your family, friends, colleagues, or boss, and there’s no mutual agreement in the end of the day, it can become a one of the causes of stress too; especially when the issue has to drag to certain period of the time. What may I suggest here is, find a plce where no disturbance, sit back & start clearing your mind from all sort of things, & start focus your mind to figure out the solution. Believe me, as soon as you have a solution, your stress has gone before your know it.

As for the rest, other causes of stress include being forced to do what you dislike to do, for instance, a guy has been instructed by his wife to do a routine laundry and cooking after knocking off from work.

I would like to suggest that joking and sharing a laugh with your colleagues at work can reduce the stress in the workplace. Try to control the situation, & not the other way round. Often, listen to my favorite radio station to reduce the sense of stress at time. When you are at home, always put your work behind your mind, because it’s you time to relax! The most important is, believe in yourself, and be in control of yourself. Always put a smile back onto your face & you will know how good you can feel at times.

To summarize it, you will have to find out & identify the causes of stress within youself before you can actually to figure out on how to reduce your stress.
